Beth Zabdai

Beth Zabdai or Gezireh is a town located on the right hand of the Tigris River, close to Jeziret ibn Omar, now Turkey.

Babai the Great, the pillar of the Assyrian Church of the East was born in Beth Ainata in Beth Zabdai in 551.
