Péter Halmosi (born September 25, 1979) is a Hungarian footballer, playing in midfield for Hull City since July 16, 2008.

Biography

Halmosi is a Hungarian International player, having won 15 caps for his country, and playing alongside former team-mates Krisztian Timar and Ákos Buzsáky in the national side.

His previous clubs include Haladás Szombathely, Grazer AK and Debreceni VSC.

Péter made his Argyle debut in a 3–1 away win against Norwich City on January 13 2007. He was widely considered to be an important player for Argyle.On 15 July, 2008 Halmosi was spotted at Hull City's pre-season friendly against North Ferriby United. On 16 July, Halmosi signed a 4 year contract with Hull City for a fee in excess of £2m, becoming, at the time, their record signing and their 6th of the summer.
