Rebound rate

Rebound rate

Rebound rate (available since the 1971 season in NBA) is a statistic used in basketball to gauge how effective a player is at rebounding. Rebound rate is an estimate of the percentage of missed shots a player rebounded while he was on the floor. The formula is (Rebounds * (Team Minutes Played/ 5)) / (Minutes Played * (Team Rebounds + Opposing Team Total Rebounds)) multiplied by 100.
