Silver Creek, Idaho

Silver Creek in south central Idaho (primarily in Blaine and Boise counties) is formed by dozens of springs that bubble up from an aquifer to form a stream. It is an example of a high desert, cold-spring ecosystem in the Western United States and attracts a variety of wildlife, including 150 species of birds. [cite web

The stream is a tributary of the Middle Fork of the Payette River and contains rainbow trout and non-native brook trout. [cite web
