- Holy Cross Cemetery Line
The Holy Cross Cemetery Line was a
public transit line inBrooklyn ,New York City ,United States , running as a short branch of the Nostrand Avenue Line east toHoly Cross Cemetery on Tilden Avenue. Originally astreetcar line , it was replaced by abus route ,Fact|date=February 2007 which is no longer operated.History
The original line ran along
Empire Boulevard andClove Road (now mostly gone) fromNostrand Avenue southeast to the cemetery. It was the third railroad in Clove Road, after theBrooklyn and Canarsie Railroad (1866-1868 ) andKings County Central Railroad (1878 only).
