Siona Atreides

Siona Atreides, also known as Siona Ibn Fuad al-Seyefa Atreides, is a fictional character in Frank Herbert's "Dune" universe. She is the daughter of Moneo Atreides, and the instrument of the God Emperor Leto's death (according to some) or transformation (according to others). She possessed genes which hid her actions from those with prescience, also known as oracles, and passed those genes on to her descendants. Character background

Siona is a character who is violently opposed to the rule of Leto II and is the leader of a rebel group on Arrakis. At the start of the "God Emperor of Dune" novel, she and members of her group, among other things, steal a series of excerpts from Leto's private journal and plans. She marries and has children with Duncan Idaho and their descendants share Siona's invisibility to the prescient vision of the Spacing Guild.
