Calder Baynard Willingham, Jr. (December 23, 1922 - February 19, 1995Alex Macaulay, [http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/nge/Article.jsp?id=h-1244 Biographical entry of Calder Willingham] from the New Georgia Encyclopedia] ) was an American novelist and screenwriter. He cowrote several notable screenplays, including "Paths of Glory" (1957) and "One-Eyed Jacks" (1961).imdb name|0932229]

Willingham and Buck Henry collaborated on the screenplay for "The Graduate" (1967), which they adapted from a novel by Charles Webb; they won a BAFTA Award for Best Screenplay for their work and were also nominated for an Oscar.
