Richard Thomas France is a
New Testament scholar andAnglican Rector . He was Principal ofWycliffe Hall Oxford from 1989 to 1995. He has also worked for theLondon School of Theology .Biography
He was born 2 April 1938, educated at
Bradford Grammar School andBalliol College, Oxford (MA). He earned his BD at theUniversity of London and his PhD at theUniversity of Bristol . He served as a curate in Cambridge and then [ these bio-details from "Who's Who" 2004 p763] :
