Zaro's Bakery

Zaro's Bread Basket is a family-owned New York City metropolitan area bakery chain. It was founded in 1927 by Joseph Zaro, an Eastern European immigrant and is now operated by his grandsons, Stuart and Joseph. In 1977, the company opened its first of four stores in Grand Central Terminal followed by stores in Pennsylvania Station and the Port Authority Bus Terminal. It manufactures all of its own products at a company-owned plant in the Bronx.
