Ero kawaii

Ero kawaii (Japanese: エロかわいい, literally "erotic cute"), widely called "erokawa" for short, is a Japanese subculture. The term also refers to that subculture's fashion. The style makes use of camisoles. The combination of pink and black is the most popular use. Ero kawaii started with Singer Kumi Koda using the term to describe her own sexy style. It is becoming commonplace for "erokawa" to be written in the captions of fashion magazines. There has been much criticism of poor taste directed at such fashions as onēkei which are very conscious of erokawa. There are also similar terms "ero kakko ii" (erotic good-looking), "ero kakko kawaii" (erotic cute-looking), and "ero kakko warui" (erotic ugly).
