The 2002 Chicago Bears season was their 83rd regular season completed in the National Football League. The club posted a dismal 4-12 record under head coach Dick Jauron. Coming off a tough playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles coupled with the remodeling of Soldier Field, the Bears were forced to play all of their home games at the University of Illinois. The Bears never seemed to get used to their new home topped with injuries to key players such as quarterback Jim Miller and safety Mike Brown the Bears posted their third 4-12 record since the firing of Mike Ditka.
