Greig

Greig is a Scottish surname. It is one of many names adopted by members of the Clan MacGregor by those who migrated to Aberdeenshire about 1580-1600.

Greig is also a common mis-spelling of the surname of Edvard Grieg, the Norwegian composer. Grieg's great-grandfather was a Scot with the surname Greig who settled in Norway.
