2004 Summer Olympics where she earned a bronze medal. She placed 21st in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 637. In the first round of elimination, she faced 44th-rankedJanet Dykman of theUnited States . Williamson defeated Dykman 147-121 in the 18-arrow match to advance to the round of 32. In that round, she faced 53rd-rankedJapan ese archerSayoko Kawauchi , defeating her 154-150. 2008 Summer Olympics inBeijing Williamson finished her ranking round with a total of 651 points. This gave her the 7th seed for the final competition bracket in which she facedWei Pi-Hsiu in the first round, beating the archer fromChinese Taipei with 108-99. In the second round she was surprised by 26th seedKhatuna Lorig from theUnited States who won the confrontation with 112-109. With her 651 score from the ranking round combined with another 651 of Folkard and the 623 of Burgess the British team was in second position after the ranking round, which gave them a straight seed into the quarter finals. With 201-196 they were too strong for theJapan ese team. In the semi final againstChina they scored 202 points with the Chinese scoring 208, missing out on the final. They were unable to recover in the bronze medal match and lost againstFrance 203-201 to miss out on the medals.
