Luc Angers (born March 1, 1959 in
Saint-Lambert, Quebec ) is aQuebec politician inGatineau, Quebec . He is thecouncillor of the district of Les Promenades in the Gatineau sector.Angers studied and received degrees at three different universities. He received a
bachelor's degree ineducation at theUniversity of Toronto and obtained amaster's degree in that domain at theUniversity of Ottawa . He also received a degree inhealth sciences at theLiberty University inVirginia . He would later become ateacher for 15 years inOttawa and was part of theCommission Scolaire des Draveurs school board administration.Angers was a candidate in the ward in the 2005 municipal elections and defeated incumbent and former
Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival president Paul Morin.In addition to being an administration staff member at the
CEGEP de l'Outaouais , Angers has also been involved in various associations in the Pointe-Gatineau area as a volunteer.During his council term he set up two key priorities suggested by citizens in his district: public safety (speeding) and infrastructure.
