Blackman High School is a high school located in
Murfreesboro, Tennessee ,United States . The school was founded in 2000.The mission of Blackman High School is "to challenge, cultivate, and engage individual students in the learning process while addressing their diverse needs, thus preparing them for post-secondary opportunities."
Blackman High's principal is Mrs. Gail Vick. Assistant principals include Clark Harrell, Scott Lawless, John Strickland, and Allison Fisher. BHS supports grades 9-12 and in 2007/2008, had a total enrollment of 1,850.
The nickname of Blackman High is the Blaze. The colors of the Blaze are orange, blue, and white.
Technology & PTR's
All classes at Blackman High have a minimum of one computer for every six students. Computers are available in the media center, training lab, and technology lab. Each teacher at the school has a multimedia center that includes a TV or lcd projector, computer with TV out, computer network connection, and a printer.
Blaze Savings and Loan
Blaze S&L is a student-run bank in conjunction with Rutherford Bank and Trust. Students serve as members of the bank board, tellers, and loan officers. Students and staff at the school may open savings accounts at the bank and get lunch loans.

* The football and soccer teams play at Inferno Stadium, which seats approximately 6,000 people and is located on campus.
