Roger F. Wendt (born December 31, 1933) is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 2nd District since 2002. He received his BA from Wayne State College, his MA from the University of South Dakota, and his Ed.D. from the University of South Carolina.

Wendt currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Judiciary committee; the State Government committee; the Ways and Means committee; and the Education committee, where he is chair.
