Jessica Heslam (born March 26, 1972 in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is currently the media reporter for the Boston Herald.
Heslam was hired by the Boston newspaper in 2000 from the Patriot Ledger in Quincy, Massachusetts. She has covered many national news stories, including the September 11, 2001 attacks, The Station nightclub fire in West Warwick, Rhode Island, the 2000 Wakefield massacre at Edgewater Technology, the Christa Worthington murder on Cape Cod, the December 2006 killing spree at the Foxy Lady nightclub in New Bedford, Massachusetts and the Virginia Tech massacre.
Heslam covers the media for the Herald and writes the MediaBiz column,[1] as well as the popular "Messenger" blog. She is married to Herald political/investigative reporter Dave Wedge.
