Joshua Green

Joshua Green is a senior editor of "The Atlantic Monthly" and a contributing editor of "The Washington Monthly" who writes primarily about U.S. politics. Green began his career in 1995 as an editor at the satirical weekly The Onion and was a staff writer from 2000 to 2001 at "The American Prospect". He received a graduate degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 1998, and graduated from Connecticut College in 1994.

Green has been with "The Atlantic Monthly" since September 2003. In 2007, Politico reported that Green's negative story on the Hillary Clinton campaign for GQ magazine was killed after the Clinton camp threatened access to Bill, who is slated to appear on the magazine's December 2007 cover.
