Joshua Braff is a fiction author from New Jersey. His first novel "The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green", described by some as a Jewish coming of age tale,Cite web|url=http://www.jewishjournal.com/home/preview.php?id=12853|title=Another Braff Tale of Jewish Ennui|accessdate=2008-02-13|year=2004-09-17|author=Naomi Pfefferman|work=Jewish Journal] was published in 2004 by Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill, and drew some comparisons to J.D. Salinger. Joshua is the older brother of actor Zach Braff.
