Sally Heep is a fictional attorney on the American legal series "Boston Legal", played by Lake Bell. The character first appeared in the final story arc of "The Practice".

Sally was an inexperienced lawyer at Crane, Poole & Schmidt who had a habit of dressing unprofessionally which gained her little respect within the firm. When the show begins she is sleeping with Alan Shore and at one time had slept with Brad Chase. Alan taught Sally the lawyer trick of how to pull a rabbit of a hat (i.e. telling a story that barely relates to the case at hand and more or less tricking the jury into buying it).

Sally and Alan broke up fairly early into the series. When Shirley Schmidt arrives she soon after chooses to terminate Sally. Sally was hurt that a woman she barely knew fired her without giving her a chance but she was more hurt that none of her friends came to her defense.

Sally left quite bitter, but she was determined to prove herself as an attorney vowing to Brad Chase that they would meet in the courtroom one day.

Sally later came back in the third season in the episodes "Whose God Is It Anyway?" (3.05) and "The Verdict" (3.06) with a new hairstyle and a more confident demeanor in court. She tried to sue Jerry Espenson for a million dollars because he fired someone based on his religious beliefs, but lost to Alan. They nevertheless have an affair. In the following episode, she causes Alan angst by repeatedly walking out and leaving him alone immediately after they finish having sex. She then leaves Alan and reunites with Brad, who learns that she snores (loudly) in her sleep.
