Moninder Singh Pandher was acquitted from being labeled as an alleged Indian serial killer. He, and his domestic servant Subhash Koli (alias Surendra) were the prime accused in the Noida serial killing of around twenty people, mostly children, from Nithari village in Sector 31 of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. However, according to the CBI inquiry, only Surendra Koli was found to be responsible for the killings

In a media report, Surendra has confessed to the kidnap, rape and murder of least eight children, however, reports indicate that more than twenty children are missing and might be victims also. Partial skeletal remains of 4 women and 15 children have been unearthed around the house of Moninder Singh and the search for more remains is currently underway. Almost all the murdered children whose skeletons were found dumped in a drain behind house number D-5 in Noida’s Sector 31.Organ trade is looked upon by CBI which took the probe from NOIDA police.

Apparently, Moninder is an industrialist who studied from 1963-73 at the prestigious Bishop Cotton School in Shimla and graduated from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.

Recent Developments

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) however, took statements by Surendra Koli and gave a clean chit to Pandher. Surendra Koli, earlier in his depositions to the CBI before a judicial magistrate had completely exonerated Pandher. However, CBI had slapped lesser charges against Pandher for bribing police officials, indulging in prostitution, procuring call girls and destruction of evidence.

CBI filed 19 charges against Pandher and Koli of which Pandher is now exonerated in 3 of them and the latest on being on 4th May, 2007 for the murder of Nanda Devi.

CBI had earlier given clean chits for Pandher on charge sheets filed for the murder of Pinki Sarkar and Payal, based on Surendra Koli's confession and that Pander was not at the crime scene on the day of killings

Moninder Singh Pandher has a son educated from the same high school and done his undergraduate from University of Windsor named Karandeep Singh Pandher.

On being requested Karan is ready to provide the Chargesheets of the cases in which the courts have framed new charges against his father. Karan soley along with the aid of his mother(Moninder Singh Pandher's wife) has been taking care of the cases. Karan has blamed the victims families for changing their statements in trail court to extort money from his family. The family has stood strongly with Moninder Singh Pandher as when all the murders had taken place it was found through Cell Phone records and from his employees that he was always out on business. In all cases the judge has framed charges against pandher on the basis of only hear say evidence, whereas all the medical and forensics evidences provided by the CBI have been disregarded as they state Pandher is innocent. Further for one instance it has been found Pandher was on a holiday trip with his wife in Australia when a murder took place and the Judge in the Trail Court still went ahead and added charges of Rape and Murder on Pandher. Pandher's family has cried about the foul play of the trial courts and by the Indian Media acting bias has not done the right thing by leaving the family to deal with everything themselves. This case has not only shown how distrubed the Indian Media is but also how unknowledgable the courts are of the Law they are suppose to Instate. The case has shown how vulnerable a innocent man is.
