Ariel Alfredo Montenegro Caseya (born 3 November, 1975 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine football midfielder. He currently plays for Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy in the Argentine Primera.

He has played for a number of clubs in Argentina and Spain including San Lorenzo, Belgrano de Córdoba, Independiente, Córdoba CF, Pontevedra CF, CD Numancia and Hércules CF.

He holds an Italian passport, and is the older brother of Daniel Montenegro.
