Concordia College is a four-year coeducational Lutheran-affiliated liberal arts college located in the village of Bronxville, in Westchester County, New York, USA. The college was founded in 1881.
The college is part of the Concordia University System, operated by the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. While Concordia is an intentionally Christian college within the Lutheran tradition, it welcomes students of all religious and cultural backgrounds.
Accreditation and affiliations
Concordia holds institutional accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The Social Work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and the teacher education program is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
The College is registered by the New York State Education Department and the International Center for English as a Second Language and is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs.
Athletics
The Concordia Clippers are members of NCAA Division II and compete in the East Coast Conference in men’s baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, and tennis, women’s basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
