Sports USA Radio Network

Sports USA Radio Network

Sports USA Radio Network is an independent nationwide sports broadcasting radio network, primarily specializing in live broadcasts of American football. NCAA football Division I-A and National Football League.

College sports on Sports USA

Sports USA broadcasts at least one major college football game every Saturday during the college football season. Through its affiliation with the Big 12 Conference, Sports USA is the official radio home of the conference's championship game.

Five college bowl games are also broadcast by Sports USA: the Las Vegas Bowl, the Independence Bowl, the Sun Bowl, the Insight Bowl, and the Capital One Bowl.

Sports USA touts itself as an "official partner" of CSTV.

"The NFL on Sports USA"

Through an affiliation with Dial Global (successor in interest to Jones Radio Networks), Sports USA brings a doubleheader slate of NFL games to the radio public, one of two radio networks to do this (Westwood One being the other). Unlike Westwood One, Sports USA only broadcasts NFL games on Sunday afternoons.

Announcers

Sports USA has a large list of announcers for its football coverage. Among its more notable staff are Howard David (formerly of Westwood One), Josh Lewin (of the San Diego Chargers), former UCLA Bruins football coach Terry Donahue, former USC Trojans football and Los Angeles Rams head coach John Robinson, and Eli Gold (from the Alabama Crimson Tide, better known nationwide for his work on NASCAR).

Tony Graziani, still active as a quarterback in the Arena Football League, serves as an analyst and sideline reporter on the network during the AFL offseason.
