Way of the Samurai 3 (侍道3) is an upcoming video game for the PlayStation 3. It is the sequel of the PlayStation 2 games "Way of the Samurai" and "Way of the Samurai 2", and is currently scheduled to be released on November 13, 2008 in Japan. The story takes place in feudal Japan, set in the Warring States period, with the player taking the role of a wandering ronin arriving in a land called Gishu Amana, which is under the rule of the Fujimori clan. Opposing the Fujimori clan are the Ouka bandits who were formerly samurai of the Sakurai clan, last ruler of Gishu Amana.
