- Jacques Desoubrie
Jacques Desoubrie (1922-1949 [http://www.memoresist.org/Dictionnaires-des-agents-doubles Review] of Patrice Miannay's "Dictionnaires des agents doubles dans la Résistance" (Dictionnary of Double Agents in the Resistance fr icon] ) was a French traitor and
double agent during theGerman occupation of France duringWorld War II . He entered theGestapo in 1941, and infiltrated first the Resistant group "Vérité Français ", where he had 100 Resistants arrested , and then "Le Guales" where he had 50 Resistants arrested . He infiltrated other groups, such as theescape network known as theComet Line , that helped Allied airmen whose planes were lost over France orSpain to return to Britain. He used various aliases like Pierre Boulain, Jean Masson or Jacques Leman.After the Liberation, he fled to Germany. He participated to the creation of the
traditionalist Catholic "Cité catholique " group, along withJean Ousset ,Charles Maurras ' personal secretary, in 1946 F.
