Ganz (toy company)

Ganz is a Canadian company best known for distributing plush animals and collectibles. More recently it is known as the manufacturer of Webkinz, the toy with an Internet site.

Founded in 1950 by Holocaust survivors Samuel Ganz and his sons Jack Ganz and Sam Ganz, it was called Ganz Bros. Toys Limited and was well known to generations of Canadians who inveriable had some of their products in their home. They were major carnival suppliers. A private company with headquarters just north of Toronto in Woodbridge, Ontario, it is now run by Sam and his son Howard.
