Alberto Junior Rodríguez Valdelomar, Rodríguez, nicknamed "El mudo" (mute) (born March 31, 1984 in Lima), is a Peruvian international footballer currently with Sporting Clube de Braga in the Portuguese Liga as a central defender.

Rodriguez started his career in Deportivo Wanka but was quickly taken to Sporting Cristal. On December 28, 2006, he signed a five year deal with Portuguese Liga oufit Sporting Clube de Braga and, on February 18, 2007, played his first league match for Braga against U.D. Leiria. Rodríguez started representing Peru during the qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup, and quickly became a defensive cornerstone. He represented the nation in Copa América 2007.
