Strensall Stakes

The Strensall Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom open to thoroughbreds which are three-years-old or above. It is run over a distance of 1 mile and 208 yards (1,800 metres) at York Racecourse, and it takes place annually in August or September.

It was promoted to Group 3 status in 2003, having earlier been classed as a Listed race. In 2008 the race was scheduled to become part of the Ebor Festival. However, the entire meeting was abandoned due a waterlogged track.
