San Jacinto Senior High School

San Jacinto High School is a high school in Riverside County, California, USA. Its current location since 1968 is 500 Idylwild Drive, San Jacinto, California [http://www.sanjacinto.k12.ca.us/sjhs/index123.html] . Several prior locations are recorded in the history of the San Jacinto School district, founded in 1868, including a schoolhouse built in 1885. Its first teacher and principle was Professor Edward Hyatt [http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/uchistory/general_history/overview/regents/biographies_h.html#hyatt_e] , who had declined a place on the Stanford University faculty in order "to supervise the establishment of a high school" in San Jacinto for 40 students. He would later become the first State Superintendent of Public Instruction for California in 1907. Ghost of the Theatre

There is said to be a ghost of the theatre. In 2004 a former drama student died and now remains in the place to watch over the productions. He is usually seen up on the cat walks.
