January 3 ,1760 –December 13 ,1835 ) is most well known for being one of less than 90dragoon s that fought under ColonelWilliam Washington during theBattle of Cowpens in theAmerican Revolutionary War .Haller, Stephen E., "William Washington: Cavalryman of the Revolution".
