St. Simon Stakes

St. Simon Stakes

The St. Simon Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1 mile 4 furlongs and 5 yards (2,419 m) at Newbury Racecourse in late October.

It is named after St. Simon, a champion racehorse in the late 19th century and subsequently a multiple Champion Sire.

* The 1998 and 2001 races were run at Newmarket Racecourse over an exact distance of 1 mile 4 furlongs (2,414 m).
