Fine Art from the prestigious Newport Art School (now part of theUniversity of Wales, Newport ) and an MFA fromReading University . She is a fellow of Gloucestershire College of Arts and Technology (nowUniversity of Gloucestershire ) and taught ceramic sculpture atPrior Park College , Bath.Her first band was
The Demented Stoats in 1979 withRichard Chadwick (Hawkwind's current drummer), followed byNext Years Big Thing and theHippy Slags , all bands based around Bath.After leaving Hawkwind she was artist designer and painter for
