Wandoor is a small town in Malppuram district of Kerala, India. It is located near to Manjeri.

The town is fast growing thanks to hundreds of NRIs working and living in the Gulf States. Old buildings are being demolished and new complexes are coming up.

New schools, hospitals are already available in Wandoor.

Karunalaya Hospital, built in 1958 by American missionary Henry Otten is located in Wandoor.

The Otten English School has over 700 students and now has students graduating with high-school equivalent degrees.

A new hospital named Noor Institute of Medical Specialties, NIMS with modern facilities have established in Wandoor recently with the participation of Gulf NRIs and some prominent personalities of Wandoor. This hospital is a landmark and can serve the community's medical needs.

The town is set for fast growth in the coming years due to high price of agriculture products like rubber and NRI's support to the economy.

Many vast dress / textile shops like PAK, CPA and gold shops are available to cater the needs of Wandoorians and the community living in the outskirts. The nearest railway station is only 3 km from Wandoor Central Town.

State Bank of Travancore has started Wandoor branch in ELAT PLAZA, a commercial complex ideally situated a few feet away from Wandoor Town Bus-stand. In August 2007 SBT inaugurated ATM facilities in ELAT PLAZA. Many more prestigious firms like Gokhulam Financiers etc. are due to be opened at ELAT PLAZA soon. Once the construction is fully completed, the complex would be an excellent commercial center with sufficient car-park and suitable for financial institutions, travel offices, shops (PAMCO&SRS)etc.
