Municipal Corporation Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Kozhikode, India. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 35,000 people and was built in 1977.
The aim of the corporation was to construct a stadium with the international standard at a cost of Rs. 15 crores. The work went on slowly for about 7.5 years. Though the work was completed at last, the absence of floodlights prevented games from being held. The work of the stadium began in November 1997. By February 2005, the stadium was opened for competition. With the advent of floodlights, many competitions can be held at Kozhikkode. This stadium has flood light and is going to be an International Cricket stadium.
