The Yellow-fronted Parrot ("Poicephalus flavifrons") is endemic in Ethiopia and Eastern Africa. It is a mostly green parrot with a yellow head. It is not common and little is known about this bird.

There are two subspecies:
*Poicephalus flavifrons flavifrons (the nominate subspecies)
*Poicephalus flavifrons aurantiiceps
