Richard Murrian

Richard Murrian (born 1969) is a noted Paris-based American photographer, most known for his nude photography of women and girls.

Biography

Richard Murrian started working as a photographer in around the year 2000, following a career as a rock musician. His early work gained some attention as an heir-apparent to David Hamilton, as his work shared a similar dreamy style and the use of attractive young models. In more recent years, his photography has evolved into a more contemporary style and his subjects have included mostly professional glamour and fashion models from eastern Europe.

His first book "Reanna's Diaries" was published in 2004, followed by a second, "See Me, Feel Me" in 2006, and a third, "Babydoll", in 2007. All his books to date have been published by German / Swiss publishing house Edition Skylight. His photographs have been exhibited internationally in galleries and major photographic exhibits in New York, Paris, and many other cities around the World.

The year 2006 saw the launch of the website [http://www.m-u-s-e.org MUSE - Inspiration Eternelle] jointly with partners in the UK and France. Murrian serves as featured photographer and creative director for this website.

His photographs have been published by many magazines including French Maxim, FHM, PHOTO, and Stern magazine in Germany, and many other lesser known similar publications.

Richard Murrian is married to model and photographer Nancy Murrian.
