- Jens Peder Søndberg
Jens Peder Søndberg (Danish: Søndberg) (born
15 July 1973 ,Randers ,Denmark ) is an artist based inCopenhagen .Soendberg studied art at the
Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1999-2005. The year after his graduation he conducted his first solo exhibition, RIO DE JANEIRO, atGallery Ebbesen also located in Copenhagen. Søndberg has also contributed to well over a dozen other exhibitions. For the past five years Søndberg has worked with the themes of water and motion, drawing upon the artistical tradition of the stormy seas, "
La Tempesta di Mare ", in EuropeanBaroque and Romantic art. In Søndberg's modern or postmodern expression however, these themes become a joint symbol of transformation. A message conveyed by the recurrence of the same maritime settings in different states of motion and augmented by the ghastly appearance of non-aquatic elements, internally similar in substance but different in shape.References
