Anton Kochinyan

Anton Kochinyan

Anton Kochinyan (25 November 1913 - 5 April 1989, Yerevan) was a Soviet Armenian politician.

He was the 1st Secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia from 1966 to 1975. He pleaded unsuccessfully with central government in Moscow for the reunification of Karabakh with Armenia. He was succeeded by Karen Demirchyan in 1975.
