Shelley Marshall

Shelley Marshall

Shelley Marshall (b. April 10, 1965, Dunnville, Ontario) is a Canadian comedienne. She started at the late age of 39 and has blown up on the scene ever since her first Open Mic Night.

After Studying at Canada's famous Second City in Toronto, she was labelled as Best New Discovery by Toronto's Now Magazine [http://www.nowtoronto.com] in 2004, Shelley has since travelled all over Ontario and has since taken her comedy on the road to The United States and Alberta with major success.

Shelley's act pokes fun at her life, her children, and the pressure of being in your forties and still being sexy. Shelley's first DVD "Dirty?" is a comedy short staring herself as her notorious character, Viola (a middle aged, mole covered woman with two older children struggling to make end's meet). She also has featured performances at the House of Comedy in Niagara Falls. The DVD has premiered at The Rivoli [http://www.rivoli.ca] in Toronto, Ontario with enormous feedback.

She also took on the role of teaching. She worked several times with the high-school she once studied at. She taught the drama class improv studies several times. Shelley also starred in many performances such as Life After 40. She also was part of the Bouffant Clowning School in Toronto.

Shelley is planning on taking her comedy overseas with a European Tour starting sometime in 2007.
