Michel Georgis

Michel Georgis

Michel Georgis (b. 12 April, 1953) is a Belgian businessman. He obtained a Master degreed in Applied Economics at the Universite Catholique de Louvain (Louvain School of Management) (Belgium).

He started his career at the Coca Cola Company, where he worked from April 1977 until January 1991 and his last job at Coca cola was Sales & Marketing Director Belgium, Luxembourg and Iceland. From February 1991 unti December 1999 he worked for Interbrew. on 10 January 2000 he started working for Proximus a Belgian mobile telecom operator, until 2003 as Executive Vice President Sales, Marketing & Customer Operations. From January 2004 until April 2005 as Chief Operations Officer (COO), and since 1 May 2005 as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
