Geography

It is on the D611, a very scenic road which twists and turns through many similar small villages.

Tourism

Villeneuve-les-Corbières is only 45 minutes from the beaches and makes a good base to explore Cathar country. There are over a dozens castles all within one hours drive of Villeneuve-les-Corbières. There are Gites to rent in the village that can be booked on gitesdefrance.fr website. Perpignan airport is only one hour away and has daily flights to the U.K. Toulouse is just over two hours away, B.A. and Air France both fly to/from there.
