- Janet Nichols Lynch
Janet Nichols Lynch (born October 3, 1952) is the American author of five books, most recently the young adult novel "Peace is a Four Letter Word." Her short stories have appeared in "The New Yorker, Seventeen, The Baltimore Review, and Writer's Forum."
Biography
Janet was born in
Sacramento, California to William Nichols, a refrigeration engineer, and Lena Graifenberg Nichols, a homemaker. She attendedLoretto High School in Sacramento, and graduated in 1970. She attendedCalifornia State University, Sacramento and graduated with a degree in music and a minor in drama in 1974. She went on to graduate school atArizona State University where she obtained a masters degree in piano performance in 1976. Janet later obtained a masters of fine arts degree atCalifornia State University, Fresno in 2002.She currently resides in
Visalia , California with her husband Timothy, a professor of music atCollege of the Sequoias , her daughter Caitlin, and her son Sean. She teaches English atEl Diamante High School andCollege of the Sequoias .Bibliography
