Indautxu

Indautxu

Indautxu is a neighbourhood of central Bilbao located between the neighbourhoods of Basurto and Abando. It is centred on "Plaza Indautxu", a large, newly reformed square under which there is a small shopping centre and a station for Metro Bilbao.

The neighbourhood is considered affluent, and is most famous for the large number of private hospitals and clinics [ [http://www.clinicaindautxu.com/ Indautxu clinic] ] , the large Company of Jesus school [ [Jesuitak Indautxu school http://www.jesuitakindautxu.org/web.html] ] and the Doña Casilda Iturrizar park, all located in the zone.

Its football team is SD Indautxu.
