Cropton is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. It is on the border of the North Riding Forest Park, 2 miles north west of Pickering
Cropton Brewery is located to the rear of the New Inn on the edge of the village. To the rear is the site of a Motte and Bailey Castle, known as the Round Hill.
