Bandechha, Bandesha are the same clan. Bandechha is a prominent
Jatt clan of the Punjab. They claimSuryavanshi descent. Most of the members of this clan areSikhs by religion in India andMuslim s in Pakistan.The noted historian, K.C. Yadav says that most of the Jat tribes came to the Punjab in eleventh century during the days of
Mahmud of Ghazni . Bandechha too are believed to have migrated to the province at this time. Parminder Singh's opinion is that this clan originated from the village Fatehgarh Churia ofAmritsar district .Bandechha(s) are found mostly in
Kapurthala ,Jalandhar ,Patiala ,Ludhiana in Indian Punjab. Prominent Bandechha villages include Fatthu Dhinga, Sarai Banjara, Shah Kot, Badesha. In Pakistan Bandechhas are mostly settled inFaisalabad andKhanewal however many have migrated further toSindh . Prominent Pakistani Bandechha villages include Hassan pur, Alipur, Noorpur Daak Wala, Bodi Shah, Chitourgarh, Chak 64, Chak 9.Some Bandechha(s) went further from Punjab to
Haryana andDelhi and some further still, migrating to Canada, England, Germany, United States. Presently, the Bandechha are spread all over the World.
