- Peter Oresick
Peter Oresick (pronounced "o-RES-ik") is an American
poet ,publisher , andprofessor .Currently he is coordinator of the
Chatham University Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing. Since1997 , he has been Adjunct Professor of Graphic Communications Management in The Tepper School of Business atCarnegie Mellon University inPittsburgh ,Pennsylvania . He is also a lecturer in the writing program at theUniversity of Pittsburgh . AtEmerson College inBoston ,Massachusetts , he directed the Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing Program. From 2005-2008 he was on the faculty of the Literary Arts Department at thePittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts .As a publisher he served in senior positions in literary, scholarly, and technical publishing from
1981 to2004 at theUniversity of Pittsburgh Press ,Graphic Arts Technical Foundation , andPrinting Industries of America .Born in
1955 inFord City, Pennsylvania , he was educated at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned aBA inEducation and a MFA inPoetry .Published works
