Koos Maasdijk

Koos Maasdijk

Jacob ("Koos") Arnold Maasdijk (born September 19, 1968 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland) is a former rower from the Netherlands, who won the gold medal with the men's eights at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

He also represented his native country at the 1992 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth in the men's fours. Maasdijk won a gold and a bronze medal at the world championships, in 1989 and 1991 respectively. He was named Rotterdam Sportsman of the year for three times.
