Dekaney serves a small portion of Houston and sections of unincorporated Harris County. Dekaney serves the communities of Cranbrook, Glen Abbey [1], and Remington Ranch [2].

This school has been noticed by the district and the internet for the many fights which happen on it's campus, which can be viewed on www.youtube.com.

Complaints were made in 2011 when the use of pepper spray was used to disperse a crowd during a fight on this campus.
