"Wonderful" is Adam Ant's last solo album to date. The album topped at #143 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band for this album included ex-Ruts drummer Dave Ruffy and Morrissey's guitarist Boz Boorer and Marco Pirroni. This album is significant showcasing more acoustic songs than Adam Ant's previous albums. This album repositioned Adam as a more mature pop-rocker, with crafted songs that featured acoustic guitars as prominently as electrics. The album was a moderate hit in the U.S. and the U.K., as was the single "Wonderful." The song "Wonderful" is about Adam Ant's former girlfriend Heather Graham and how he misses her because of his move away from America. The song "Wonderful" is probably the one which had the most commercial exposure from the album and was also included in "Stand and Deliver" the Best of Adam and the Ants.
